How to manage organizer accounts

New organizer sign-ups land in your queue. Here's the lifecycle from application to active account.

What this guide covers

Control the organizer lifecycle: review pending sign-ups, approve or reject them, suspend/reactivate accounts, and set each account's commission rate.

What you'll need

Platform admin access (role admin).

Where to go

Admin → Accounts (pending queue and full account list).

Step by step

  1. Open Accounts → Pending to review new organizer applications.
  2. Approve to activate (or Reject to decline).
  3. From the account list, open any account to inspect or manage it.
  4. Suspend to block access (e.g. compliance hold); Reactivate to restore.
  5. Set the account's commission rate (overrides the platform default for that organizer).
  6. Update organizer details as needed (account update endpoint).

And then?

Approved organizers can access the organizer portal. Suspended accounts lose access immediately. Commission settings feed payout calculations.

Good to know (rules & limits)

  • Suspension is a hard lockout — communicate with the organizer before/after acting.
  • Commission changes affect future payout calculations (retroactivity needs validation).

If something goes wrong

  • Organizer stuck "pending" — approve from the pending queue; check notification delivery separately.
